The answer is: Gestapo

Gestapo is a contraction of Geheime Staatspolizei, or "Secret State Police". Its first commander was Rudolf Diels, a protégé of Hermann Göring, the inluential Nazi part official and the commander of the Luftwaffe, the Nazi airforce.
The Gestapo ceased to exist after the Nuremberg Trials.
